Collection and use of personal data

The personal data provided are processed with automated instruments and others, and in compliance with, including in terms of data security, the EU Regulation 2016/679 for the purposes of accomplishing the activities entrusted to the Company, as well as the subject of the existing collaboration and/or for the purpose of providing the information required and/or to fulfil specific obligations the data controller is responsible for. Provision of data is optional, but refusal to provide it may prevent Sistemir from continuing to perform the activity that is the subject of collaboration or fulfilling specific requests.

The data are connected to the activity of consultancy for the CE mark on medical devices and regard the normal activity with customers/suppliers or potential ones; no mass marketing activity is included except by specific consent.

Retaining and disclosing personal data

Retainment of data (which in no case shall be longer than 10 years from the last processing/update) is connected with the existence of a service provider, legal obligations or specific processing needs; the data subject has the right to request erasure of the data when the same right is not in conflict with legal obligations.

The data subject’s data will be communicated to the author’s employees, banks or credit institutions for processing and collecting amounts due, to public institutes and bodies, to control and public security bodies and to any third parties, exclusively in relation to the activity which is the subject of the collaboration and regulations/legal obligations.

Erasure of personal data

The data subject has the right to obtain from Sistemir the erasure, limitation, updating, portability, objection to processing of the personal data that regard him/her as well as in general the rights contained in Articles 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21 and 22 of the EU Regulation 2016/679.

Transfer of the data subject’s data abroad is not envisaged, but any third parties involved in the processing may avail of the possibility.

Sistemir may periodically update the privacy policy. A notice will be sent by email in the event of substantial changes.

Consent

Consent, so that the data subject’s data can be processed by Sistemir according to the procedures indicated in the above policy or to comply with specific requests, IS NOT required, according to Art. 6 paragraph 1 letter b (and c for legal obligations the data controller has), processing is considered lawful.

As stated in Art. 14 of the EU Regulation 2016/679, the data subject provides a copy of this to subjects whose personal data will be communicated to Sistemir, collected for the sole purpose of allowing for the performance of activity assigned to Sistemir.
